Rush Exciting and Interactive Social Experience

Rush is a brand new 5v5 gaming experience designed specifically for friends. This mode is integrated into all existing game modes in EA FC 25.

EA emphasizes that this is not a completely separate mode when introducing this game mode. Instead of offering Rush as a standalone mode to players, they have chosen to add features that already work well. The first reason for this is that they want to revitalize and enrich the most preferred gaming experiences with Rush, and the second reason is that they aim to offer an optimized gaming experience by adding a new feature to the established system.

With Rush, EA is reinterpreting football with a smaller field, from 11v11 to 5v5. While doing this, EA FC 25, which wants to maintain balance and fun mechanics, does not make any changes to the basic mechanics of the gameplay. In other words, the pass and the shot you give still have the same dynamics and systems. 

However, thanks to RUSH, players will be able to spend more time with the ball, take more responsibility in the game and see the results of their behaviors more often. Not only the movements made with the ball, but also the movements you make without the ball and strategic moves such as reading the game will be effective nuances in the game you play. With Rush, 4 people on the team can be real players if they want. The goalkeeper will be controlled by artificial intelligence.

For a more concentrated experience in a 5′ 5 football match, of course, various iterations need to be made to the game. At this point, the field size also changes and becomes smaller. However, I would like to emphasize that it is not a very reduced area. EA FC 25 has kept the field large enough for players to be creative and use the area to their advantage. In fact, EA officials clearly state that this is not a street football experience. They even state that they have removed the Volta game mode as a result of community feedback.

Along with all this, of course, Rush needs a new stadium. Here, EA, which has partnered with Nike, plans to play exciting matches in this stadium with its brand new stadium with a perfectly cool design. Inspired by Nike’s Swoosh, this stadium has managed to create an intriguing work with neon lights, drone shows, the proximity of the spectator seats to the field and environmental atmospheres. 

Although EA FC 25 Rush does not change the 11v11 football experience, it has actually created differences in the core game experience by bringing some methods that are also talked about in the football world or applied locally. It is worth noting that these differences are of course specific to Rush.

• Center Kick: Instead of the classic center kick, there is a ball thrower on the upper and lower touch lines of the midfield line. These ball throwers randomly throw the ball to the middle field. • Offside: With Rush, offsides will start from the attacking area, not the midfield. This allows you to establish deeper strategies while defending and attacking in the game. 
• Penalty Kicks: Instead of the standard penalty kick, there is a system where you are 1v1 with the goalkeeper and you are in action. A similar system was used in MLS in the past. You can see an example here if you wish. 

FC IQ

FC IQ is actually a new player-focused feature that, as its name suggests, allows you to make much more in-depth tactical approaches. Unlike the Rush feature, this feature will be available to you in normal game modes, namely 11v11 football matches. 

EA FC IQ is a system where you can customize in detail how you want the players on your team to move and behave in different areas, such as both online games and manager modes.

EA FC plans to bring modern football to players with FC IQ 25. With this mode, you will have the freedom to make tactical changes to players, as well as using real-world data to see how well players are able to perform the tasks you have assigned to them in the game and witness how well they can perform these tasks. 

For the players who do not fit your tactics but do not want to give up, you will be able to integrate them into your will by doing special coaching work and sometimes you will be able to evolve the players’ games in completely different ways. With the FC IQ mode, there are now more than 50 new roles that you can define for the players.

Whether you use a free kick or a corner, you may need to change your usage habits especially when there is a strong wind on the field.

Players can now slip and fall while moving or shooting on slippery ground. Also, ball physics can behave differently on wet ground. The choices you make in such weather conditions can reveal different results. This actually offers us a more realistic structure that we love in football. 

New Struggles Arrived

As in almost every game in the series, new skill moves have been added to the game in EA FC 25. These skill moves, which can be done in smaller steps, allow you to eliminate your opponent more smoothly with the renewed animation system.

Tactical Fouls

In real life football matches, we sometimes witness the defending team committing tactical fouls on the attacking team. With EA FC 25, we will now be able to make tactical fouls on the opposing team players with the right analog if necessary. However, the penalty for showing this behavior will result in a direct yellow card. If you repeat the behavior a second time, the referee will not hesitate to show a red card.

Passing is now more difficult. Passes are delicate and there is a chance of making mistakes. Therefore, a good passer will continue to be able to pass, but for this, his qualities must be sufficient depending on the specificity of the pass he makes. 

I’m curious to see how this feature will play out, especially in 5v5 Rush matches.

Ray tracing technology, which has become a standard in many games, will now start to be seen in EA FC games. EA FC 25 offers two different graphic modes to players as Advanced and Standard graphic mode.

 Both modes are set to be locked to 60 fps by default. Of course, you can change the details from the menu if you want. The advanced setting offers you 4k resolution, better lighting and ray tracing technology.

In this new version where 4 players will come together and play, each player includes the player they want to include in the game from their own squad and plays the game with that character. To do this, you first need to create a Rush lobby. The lobby you will create will be for a total of 4 people. You have the right to invite 3 more friends to this lobby besides yourself. If you do not have enough friends to invite, that is not a problem. At this point, EA FC 25 finds teammates for you and allows you to make the most accurate match. Players earn rewards as a group after each match and can expand their own squads with these rewards. 

We will witness many different Rush events in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team throughout the year. For example, the La Liga Rusg event. When participating in this event, you will join the lobby you created with your friends and players from LA Liga. This is actually an important factor that shows that Rush will be used very effectively throughout the season.

In addition, each event will give you the opportunity to earn bonuses when teaming up with your friends with Rush. In order to earn these bonuses, the game requires players to choose to play in the position it recommends. This is not mandatory, but it is an option you can consider if you want to get extra bonuses. 

You will also receive special Rush points after each Rush event. With the Rush points you earn, you will be able to progress in seasonal missions and expand your squad with these points.

With EA FC 25, if there are duplicate players in the packs we open, we will no longer have to go through the trouble of taking their photos and using them in the SBC like we did before. Instead, we will be able to send these players to a SBC storage area with a total of 100 players and use these players in squad building missions whenever we want.

At the end of the presentation we attended, EA officials pointed out a remarkable point. This is that Ultimate Team and Clubs modes now intersect at certain points. As the officials stated in the presentation, players playing Clubs can fall behind Ultimate Team, while players playing Ultimate Team can fall behind Clubs. In order to soften this difference a little, EA FC 25 has determined the points where the progression in both game modes intersect. No clear information was given on how this will work exactly. As a player who plays both game modes but mainly Pro Clubs mode, this news made me happy. 

Club Rush

Clubs Rush is the area that EA describes as more competitive. Although it works according to the dynamics I have mentioned many times in the article, playing in a coordinated manner with your friends is of extra importance here in terms of competition. 

Rush will also have a direct and significant impact on the club’s ranking, allowing you to earn more rewards. You can participate in this event as a team or alone, just like in the standing mode. In this case, you will be matched with players close to your ranking points. 

Again, in this game mode, you will earn Rush points from the games you play and you will be able to use the Rush points you earn to improve your clubs within the Ultimate team.

Now, with the successes we get from the matches, our club’s own budget will be created and this budget will increase depending on the successes. By purchasing trainers and cards according to your club budget, you can provide them with features that only provide extra benefits to real players.
