In this article, we bring together what we will encounter in the High Isle package and the answers to our various questions.

A Brighter and More Colorful Land

The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle expansion’s setting is High Isle, a region that was previously mentioned but never seen in the much older spin-off Redguard. Located in High Rock, which is controlled by the Daggerfall Covenant, High Island has never been seen before, giving the developers a great deal of freedom.

After the darker and more somber maps of Blackwood, High Isle will feel like a vacation. High Isle, which features Breton culture and architecture, was designed with medieval and Mediterranean cities in mind. High Isle will feature three distinct regions, each with their own unique beauty and dangers. In addition to woodlands and rainforests, we will also have the opportunity to experience the areas where Breton nobility vacationed.

The developers, who admit that previous developments were a bit more nostalgic, say they want to focus on areas that are new not only for ESO but for the entire Elder Scrolls world. This time, we are not faced with large-scale events that will bring about the end of the world, but rather a situation that seems smaller in scale. The ongoing Three Banners War and the peace talks to end this war, as well as a separatist group trying to prevent these talks, await us.

It seems that in the High Isles, where political events will be intense, we will not be fighting against pure evil, but will be forced to witness conflicts of interest and make decisions that wander in gray areas.

The story and regions, which will last nearly 30 hours, are not the only innovations coming with High Isles. Two new names are joining the companion characters that help our character throughout his adventure. Companions named Ember and Isobelle were prepared by taking into account the feedback of the players about the previous companions.

Ember, a Khajiit raised on the streets and noted for her aptitude for magic, and Isobelle, a knight of the Breton race, will now be among the companions we can choose to accompany us on our adventures.

Along with High Isles, the pirate-themed 12-person Dreadsail Reef Trial is also being added to the game. Another new feature added to the game is a new card game called Tales of Tribute.

The Cards Are Being Reshuffled

If the new regions, events, and companions announced for High Isle (even though one of them is Khajiit) are not enough for you, let’s talk about the mini card game called Tales of Tribute, which is based on creating new decks and defeating opponents with these decks.

According to Lambart, the question “What do Tamriel adventurers do in their free time?” was first posed in 2008. After all, you can’t just sit in an inn and eat and drink all day long, and you also need to play games in between. Tales of Tribute, which emerged as a result of these thoughts, will have both a PvE mode with its own storyline and a PvP mode where you can compete against other players in a ranked manner. In the game, where we can have 8 different decks, most of which have their own mechanics, and an average of 20 cards, we will obtain the first 4 decks at the end of the training missions.

There will be no need to spend any extra money for the Tales of Tribute mode, which is also said to be possible to develop some cards. We will not have to go to the store in any way to obtain the decks and cards in the game. This means that there will be no opportunity to get stronger and gain advantage over other players by spending money in the game.

Tales of Tribute mini game can be played almost everywhere. Of course, it is not possible to play in battlefields or dungeons, after all, we do not want to leave our teammates hanging while playing cards. In addition to having fun by playing Tales of Tribute, we also have the chance to challenge NPC characters and win special gifts such as furniture and transmute stones.
